Climate Change is a phenomenon that affects all living beings that inhabit the planet. The visible consequences of climate change affect food production, pest control, weather variations, among others. The study of the causes of global climate change will allow us to know the severity of its consequences and to propose alternative solutions to the problem.

  OBJETIVES  

The main objectives of this introductory course on Climate Change are:

  • To describe the mechanism that produces Climate Change and their impacts on living beings and the environment.
  • To determine the impact of the use of fossil fuels in the generation of global warming.
  • To identify technological alternatives to reduce the Climate Change.
  SCHEDULE  

The course will be open to the public in Spanish on January 2001. The English and Portuguese versions will be available on February 2001.

Communication: The course “ABC of Global Climate Change” is part of the Sustainable Development 21 minor, offered by the INNOVA Center for Sustainable Development to the general public. This Minor is composed of 6 courses offered through www.tec.com.mx. It covers a diversity of topics such as Eco-efficiency; Corporate Social Responsibility; Biotechnology, Bioethics and Sustainable Development; Financial Systems, and other subjects.
